Basketball League: learn the shot before the match
| Action | Control |
|---|---|
| Move toward the ball | Left / Right arrow |
| Charge a shot | Hold Up arrow |
| Release the ball | Release Up arrow in the green band |
Start with Tutorial
The title screen offers 1 Player, 2 Players, Quick Match and Tutorial. Choose Tutorial for a guided first basket. The lesson first asks you to move with the arrows and collect the ball. It then places a green circle on the floor and asks you to move to the shot spot. Do not skip that positioning step when learning the timing.
Use the meter, not a fixed key hold
At the shot spot, a vertical meter appears beside your player. Hold Up to charge and release in the green band indicated by the lesson. A timed release scored two points in our desktop check. There is no universal hold duration promised here: watch the meter on your own screen instead of copying a number of milliseconds.
Move from shooting to dunking
After the first basket, the lesson asks you to move nearer the hoop to a dunk spot. Follow the new floor marker rather than shooting again from the old circle. This teaches two separate decisions: where to stand, and when to release. Practice those before judging the special actions available in a full match.
Sharing a keyboard
Use the 2 Players menu for the local two-player option. Both players should read that mode’s instructions before the match; the tutorial’s keys are not a verified map for both players. For solo practice, return to Tutorial, or choose 1 Player from the title screen. We have verified the tutorial basket, not every match mode or mobile control.
